The Coop

Chickens require a place to live when you don't live in a place where you feel they can just have free range, so.... We built a coop. It was actually fun to look at different styles and plans with Ben and then figure it all out. Ben, being a Guercio, lives a go-big-or-go-home lifestyle so we got an awesome coop! Here's a shot of the enclosed area and nesting boxes.

Ethan tried a hand with the power tools and loved it of course. Here he is using my anniversary gift-a nail gun. (And yes, I was so excited to get it! I'm always roping Ben into projects that really could use a nail gun.)
